Oleg Tistol is a Ukrainian artist, a representative of Ukrainian Neo-Baroque, one of the leaders of the New Ukrainian Wave. He is a co-founder of the Nationalprom art group. Oleg was born in 1960 in Vradiivka, Mykolaiv region. He lives and works in Kyiv. Tistol’s work is a vibrant blend of modern and traditional elements, often exploring themes of national identity, cultural transformation, and the role of the artist in society. His dynamic compositions are characterized by bold imagery and a playful sense of experimentation, reflecting the multifaceted nature of Ukrainian culture and history.
