Nadiia Martynenko was born in 1956 in the village of Tovstolis in Chernihiv oblast. She studied at the M. Samokysh Crimean Art School in the Department of Arts and Pedagogy. Nadiia Martynenko is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Currently, she lives and works in Chernihiv, while her works adorn the collections of numerous museums in Ukraine and abroad.
