Oksana Borysova considers the textile object as an experimental space for creative expression, as a kind of message to the viewer, realised through innovative techniques using modern and traditional techniques and materials. She is the head of the Artistic Textile Department at the Trush Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts. She is a member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine. The artist responded to the full-scale invasion with a series of socially significant art projects, namely Identification by War, DNA Code of Freedom. Identification by War', 'The Unbreakable Wall. Identification by War'. The artist's works are held in museum and private collections in Poland, Germany, Spain, Austria, the USA and Ukraine.
